Certain herbal supplements and plants contain cardiac glycosides and can result in digoxin-like effects or toxicity. Pharmacists should be aware of these different products that contain cardiac glycosides. Pharmacists should know how to identify and treat non-digoxin cardiac glycoside poisonings.
